The SYCBA model SYC-2000-MAB is a high-performance medium-intensity type AB obstruction light, designed for marking tall structures such as wind turbines, towers, meteorological masts, chimneys, broadcast masts, bridges, and buildings. The model provides a dual-mode illumination with a 20,000 candela (cd) flashing white light for daytime and a 2,000 cd flashing red light for nighttime use.
The unit utilizes high-efficiency LEDs along with optical lenses to provide high-intensity illumination while optimizing energy consumption and extending its operational lifespan. Its body is made from anodized aluminum alloy with a powder-coated finish, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion.
The protective shell is fabricated from polycarbonate, a high-strength, impact-resistant material with UV stabilization to ensure durability and performance under extreme environmental conditions. The entire assembly is fully encapsulated and IP66 rated, offering robust protection against ingress of dust and water. For ease of installation, the light is provided with a mounting bracket.
The SYCBA model SYC-2000-MAB comes with an integrated switch allowing users to customize the flash rate to 20, 40, or 60 flashes per minute (fpm), with 20 fpm set as the default. Optional features include a twilight sensor and/or GPS synchronization.
